The Public Land & Resources Law Review at the University of Montana is currently accepting
submissions for our 45th volume, which will be published in Spring 2023.
We accept pieces authored by
practitioners and professors, and specifically encourage submissions by authors of color and members of
indigenous and other minority communities.
Since 1980, the Public Land & Resources Law Review has encouraged discourse on issues surrounding
public lands, natural resources, environmental, and federal Indian law.
We value a broad range of article
objectives, from those exploring paradigm shifts in environmental legal frameworks to practice-based
explanations of administrative and regulatory concepts. We are inviting submissions within any of these
areas and are particularly interested in articles focused on climate change, environmental justice, ESG
(Environment, Social, Governance), water law, and Federal Indian law.
Submissions may be emailed
to plrlr@umontana.edu or submitted via our website. Articles are accepted on a rolling basis until the publication is filled.
Sincerely,
2022–23 Editorial Staff
