Dear Authors,
The Loyola University Chicago Law Journal is seeking authors interested in submitting an article that will be the lead article in Issue 1 of our law journal. Issue 1 highlights legal developments around the United States and can address broader topics (anything from immigration to the end of affirmative action) but must have some significant relevance in our current times and a connection to social justice.
Although all submissions are welcome, we highly encourage minority professors, female professors, and professors of color to submit an article to the journal for consideration. We will only consider full draft articles, ready to be submitted for publication. Articles must between 30-70 pages with a minimum of 250-300 footnotes.
If interested, please contact Dede Benissan, Editor-in-Chief, at dgbikpibenissan@luc.edu, and Ryleigh Goodman, Executive Editor for Lead Articles, at rgoodman@luc.edu, by Wednesday, August 20, 2025.
Issue 1 is set for publication in October 2025. Should we accept an article, the author must be ready to submit the manuscript to us the Week of August 20. We look forward to reviewing your article proposals.
Sincerely,
Loyola University Chicago Law Journal
