About Me

Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Alaq is a university professor specializing in modern and contemporary Iranian history. He combines deep research expertise with an interest in digital technologies and artificial intelligence applications in the humanities. Dr. Al-Allaq is distinguished by his ability to provide precise analytical insights into the political, social, and cultural developments in Iran, linking them to regional and international transformations.
Research Interests
1. Modern and Contemporary Iranian History: Studying the political, social, and cultural transformations in Iran from the 19th century to the present, with a focus on revolutionary events and domestic and foreign policies.
2. Integration of Artificial Intelligence in the Humanities: Exploring ways to utilize AI technologies in historical research, such as text and large-scale historical data analysis.
3. Digital Revolution and Its Impact on University Education: Analyzing the effects of digital technologies on university teaching methods, and developing e-learning and distance education strategies.
Academic Experience
• Professor of History at the University of Kufa, with extensive experience teaching both classical and contemporary history courses.
• Supervising and preparing research studies, theses, and dissertations specialized in Iranian history, covering political, social, and economic events of the modern and contemporary eras.
