The George Washington International Law Review (GWILR) is a student-run, student-edited publication of The George Washington University. In its four annual issues, GWILR presents articles and essays on public and private international financial development, comparative law, and public international law. As one of the premier international law journals, the GWILR enjoys a reputation for publishing timely and original articles that advance scholarship in international law. The U.S. Supreme Court has cited to GWILR, which regularly receives citations both internationally and domestically.
The GWILR encourages submission of articles, essays, and book reviews based on public or private international law, comparative law, or related issues. We do not currently publish submissions from J.D. candidates other than GWILR members.
