The St. Mary’s Journal on Legal Malpractice and Ethics is now accepting submissions for Volume 16, which is set to be published in 2026.

Authors whose articles are accepted will be invited to speak at the 25th Annual Symposium on Legal Malpractice and Ethics, which will be held in San Antonio, Texas (expenses paid).

The Journal is particularly interested in publishing articles related to legal malpractice law, legal ethics, judicial ethics, lawyer liability, disqualification, and professional discipline. We are also interested in articles about ethics in public interest, pro bono service, and civil rights.

Articles are typically 7,000-10,000 words, although longer pieces are welcome. We do not accept submissions from current law students who are not members of St. Mary's Law Journal

Authors can submit articles for review through Scholastica or can send a CV and article (or abstract) to Natalia Jasso, Legal Malpractice & Ethics Editor in Chief, Vol. 15, at njasso@mail.stmarytx.edu.
