We welcome submissions addressing any aspect of election litigation, including but not limited to:
Federal and state court rulings on election procedures and ballot access
Legal controversies surrounding voting rights and election integrity
The role of litigation in shaping electoral outcomes or policy
Emerging litigation trends and their democratic or institutional implications
Comparative or historical perspectives on election-related legal disputes
Selected articles and essays will be published in a special symposium issue and authors will be invited to participate in a related symposium event at Texas Law in Spring 2026. Participation in the event is encouraged but not required for publication.
Submission Guidelines:
We accept articles, essays, or shorter commentaries (ideal length: 8,000–20,000 words).
Submissions should be made via Scholastica.
Preferred submission deadline: December 1, 2025. Earlier submissions are encouraged and will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
Final submission deadline: January 15, 2025.
