Applications are due Friday, Aug. 7, for law students interested in competing in the ABA Forum on Communications Law Diversity Moot Court Competition. Now in its 13th year, the competition is designed to introduce minority law students to the practice of media law and to practicing lawyers active in the media and communications bar. Competitors can enter individually or in teams of two, and will brief and argue a hypothetical problem before a panel of media lawyers and, if chosen for the semifinals, before a panel of sitting trial and appellate judges in January 2021.
